PRAISE College Readiness Program (PCRP) is a program of the Urban Leadership Institute, in collaboration with The Johns Hopkins School of Education, that helps African-American Males in Baltimore City to become competitive applicants to four-year colleges/universities. This program is enrichment focused offering: individual college counseling, tutoring, workshops, college tours, special events, and summer programs. The goal is to change the current statistics facing African American males and offer them hope for a brighter future.
Goaldiggers The Sankofa Project is an unprecedented program that offers a nontraditional approach to fostering educational excellence for girls in Baltimore’s Park Heights Community by helping them to reclaim their identity, giving them access to travel, and providing group mentoring and intense academic support.
